Long Beach, CA – June 2, 2012 – I Finally had the chance to go to Wekfest this year as I was really disappointed to miss last years gathering. Wekfest started in 2009 and is sponsored by Weksos industries a company based in San Jose, California which primarily offer a broad range of aftermarket products to a very diverse automotive market. In my opinion of all car shows that I attended here in SoCal, Wekfest is a breath of fresh air and set itself apart from the usual car shows since the venue is located right beside the historic Queen Mary and offers a priceless view of downtown Long Beach. I was really surprised to see a long queue at the entrance when I arrived at the venue at around 11am considering that the gates won’t be open to the public not until 1pm. It was a good thing that I arrived early to get my media credential and was able to beat out the crowd in order to get better photos of the cars with less people passing by. If you want something different this is by far the best event to take photos if you are into landscape, models and car photography as Weksos has definitely delivered the exquisite taste of what other people are searching for.
